About Sun Marine Services

Sun Marine Services commenced trading under the directorship of Jim Winchester in 1980, initially as detailers, new boat maintenance service personnel and delivery skippers to Sydney's first Riviera Dealer located on the shores of beautiful Pittwater.

In 1985, Sun Marine Services were contracted to manage the Riviera Sales office at The Spit in Middle Harbour as Sydney's Riviera Dealer expanded their Sales and Marketing arm.

In 1990, Sun Marine Services were contracted as sales consultants to the Mariner Cruiser dealership at Pittwater on Sydney's beautiful northern beaches.

In 1992, Sun Marine Services opened their own marine sales and service brokerage office in Brooklyn, trading under the banner of Brooklyn Cruiser & Yacht Sales, which we sold in 1997.

Jim Winchester, after several years operating his own Boat Brokerage and as contract sales consultants to Riviera and Mariner Distributors in Sydney, decided in 2004 to return home to Queensland, where Sun Marine Services now operate selling pre-owned cruisers both in Queensland and New South Wales.

Sun Marine Services are Agents for the luxurious Bill Dixon designed Johnson Motor Yachts, we are also Agents for the imported Tiara Sports Cruisers including the Australian built Caribbean Cruisers and also sell Eagle Pilothouse Cruisers, Oceanpro centre console sports cruisers and Escapa 42 Catamarans.

Sun Marine are also accredited marine insurance agents for Club Marine & Nautilus Marine Insurance.

Sun Marine Services have been BIA members since 1993 and are not only committed to their Code of Practice but are accredited BIA Marine Brokers.
